SEMYO invites you to their 9th annual It’s Instrumental: An Evening of Chamber Music event on Saturday, October 25 from 6-8:30 pm at the Historic Chateau Theatre in downtown Rochester.

Guests will enjoy great music, fun company, and celebrate music education in an elegant, historic setting! It’s Instrumental will include dinner, drinks, music performed by talented SEMYO musicians and their teachers, and a lively dessert auction led by students. SEMYO will also honor Janine Yanisch, director of the First Players band program, with the Bravura Award for Excellence in Music Education.

Tickets for the event are $75 for adults and $50 for youth aged 18 and under. Tables of 8 and sponsorships are also available. All proceeds go to benefit the SEMYO program.

Every year, funds raised at It’s Instrumental provide thousands of dollars of aid for students to participate in our program and take music lessons. Donations also contribute to our outreach program at Riverside Central Elementary School (that provides free violin lessons for low-income and minority elementary school students) and tours that bring SEMYO musicians directly to schools and senior centers throughout SE Minnesota.
