While today’s Thursdays Downtown was canceled due to severe weather, the Rochester Downtown Alliance is excited to share that the music isn’t completely rained out. Instead, the RDA and Rochester Public Music invite the community to a special indoor performance tonight by acclaimed Anishinaabe Hip Hop artist Thomas X at the Historic Chateau Theatre.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the concert begins at 7 p.m. This event is free to attend, and seating will be capped at the first 500 guests on a first-come, first-served basis.

A member of the Red Lake Band of Ojibwe, Thomas X brings powerful storytelling, cultural pride, and lyrical brilliance to the stage. His performance offers a unique and inspiring experience that celebrates Indigenous artistry and resilience.

While we’re disappointed the weather disrupted today’s Thursdays Downtown, the RDA is grateful to continue supporting live music and community connections Downtown…rain or shine.
